201st Airlift Squadron takes delivery of Amazon Sella
On January 19, 2010, members of the 201st Airlift Squadron — a unit of the District of Columbia Air National Guard based at Andrews Air Force Base — took delivery of the Amazon Sella, and were fully trained in the use of the unit. The 201st Squadron is the first unit in the U.S. Forces to acquire the mobility and the independent capability to get disabled passengers in and out of aircraft safely, more efficiently, reliably, and with dignity.
